ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • This drawing contest is open to illustrators from all around the world, based in any country, working in any medium or context.

  • The participants must be minimum 18 years old in order to submit their work.

  • A minor can also enter into the contest only after submitting us their parent’s consent letter at editor@winglessdreamer.com

  •  You must be the original artist of your entry, first and foremost.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

  • There is no particular theme for the contest. We will judge you completely based on your merit and on three general aspects: Execution, Artistry and Story Perspective.

  • And if you think you got something better, different or unique that can make us jump off from our seats, feel free to submit your work with us.

  • We welcome to give equal opportunity to every artist. Who may know you can win?!

  • No photographs, rendering, tracing, and gridding.

  • Digitally edited scans or photos of your own artwork is permitted (i.e.: using photoshop to color ink line art, post-processing paintings, etc.).

  • You can also write about your illustration not more than 3-4 lines.

  • Filters: Using applications/plugins to render, filter, or generate aspects of your art can be helpful. But we highly discourage using these tools to create the art for you.

  • You can submit your art through Submittable.com or on our website winglessdreamer.com

  • Please provide us a bio summary in the last page of your portfolio.

PRIZE:

 

Winner

  • Upon winning you will be entitled to be the winner of “WINGLESS DREAMER BEST ILLUSTRATOR AWARD 2020” for the year.

  • The winner will get winning certificate and also be entitle to $100.

  • The winning work will be published in our annual Illustrator’s book which will be publish on Amazon.com

  • The winning work will also be highly promoted through social media, posters, and also exclusively on our website to gain recognition and reputation.

  • The winner will also get a project to work along with our Wingless Dreamer team and provide us illustrations for the next literary issue which will be publish on Amazon.com, Kindle bookstore and other literary sites as well.

 


Top runner ups 

  • Certificates of appreciation will be provided to the winner and to the top 5 runner ups.

  • Top finalists works will get published in our WD Illustrator’s catalogue which will be available on Amazon.com to purchase.

  • Top finalists will also get a free membership to Wingless Dreamer Community and accessibility to all our services unconditionally for the rest of their life.
