POETRY CONTEST: The Wingless Dreamer publisher is now accepting entries for our next contest. Enter into our poetry contest for a chance to get published in our upcoming anthology, City of Light. The rules are simple. Write a poem about your favorite place.

Tell us why you admire it so much, what emotions does it bring to you, what memories does it hold, or how it brought meaningful change into your life? In this poetry contest, we are seeking poems about hope and perseverance to give readers the mental boost they need when things get tough. Your poetry must include a rhythm to deliver exciting and imaginative ideas as well as evoke emotional actions and reactions. Your poem should have the potential to provide readers with insightful advice as well as encourage them, strengthen their resolve, motivate them to succeed, and even give them direction and clarity when their hope is shaken.

All qualified entries will receive notification of acceptance within a few weeks.

Submissions are now open. We read submissions on a rolling basis. We are not a paying market.

Submit previously unpublished work only. Please do not send us work that has appeared elsewhere on the internet or in print.

Send us no more than one poem, either pasted in the body of an email or in .doc, .docx, .pdf format, preceded by a short-bio (max 150 words). Please include the bio written in the third person.
