In this contest, we encourage you to delve into the depths of your emotions, allowing the shadows within your soul to be your muse. Uncover the profound meaning that darkness holds for you and craft a poetic masterpiece that illuminates its essence. 🌑 Guidelines 🌑

1️⃣ Poems must be written in English.

2️⃣ All poetic forms, such as sonnets, haikus, free verse, and more, are welcome.

3️⃣ Each participant can submit up to two original poems.

4️⃣ Poems should focus on the theme of darkness within oneself, but interpretations can be broad and varied.

5️⃣ Submissions must be unpublished and should not have won any previous contests.

6️⃣ The length of the poems should be no more than 40 lines.

  • Contest Opening Date: May 8th, 2023

  • Submission Deadline: June 1st, 2023

  • Winner Announcement: June 9th, 2023
