WINGLESS DREAMER MOTIVATIONAL POETRY AND QUOTES CONTEST 2020
Can your poem or quotes uplift, encourage, and stir people to motivation? Can it restore mental grit and bravery? Write an outstanding versus that can forever wipe away tears, and, above all, make a person feel inspired and encouraged to chase the person’s dream. If selected top participants will get a chance to publish with Wingless Dreamer and the winner will get $50 + author’s copy.

GUIDELINES:

Winning honorarium: $50 USD + winning copy

The top participants will get a chance to publish their poems in our upcoming poetry book called, “Magic of Motivational Poetry and Quotes”.

Poems or Quotes should be in English, must be the entrant’s own work and should not have been published or accepted for publication elsewhere (including online), should not have won another poetry competition, or be the translated work of another poet.

Our judge will read all entries.

No changes can be made to a poem/quote once it has been submitted.

The decision of the judge is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

WinglessDreamer Poetry Festival Trustees, employees or associates, or members of their families, may not enter.

Deadline: midnight on 30th September 2020. Entries received after this time will not be considered.

Struggling to get out of bed? Can’t seem to get yourself to put that load of laundry in? We feel you. Sometimes it can be hard to find the motivation to do what we need to do. We all have bad days. So that’s why we decided to hold this contest! Our motivational poetry contest was here to inspire writers to think of the positive, the light in the dark, that one thing you say to yourself to get yourself going and get creative with it!

We received many poems that made us feel like we could climb a mountain right now, start training for a marathon, pick up that instrument we’ve been meaning to try for all our lives, and even chase our wildest dreams.
​
The ability to self-motivate makes all our contestants “winners”, but unfortunately, for the sake of the contest, there can be only one winner.

We will notify all the selected participants via email once the book is released. The impact of COVID-19 can be felt all over the world and that doesn’t exclude our small community of writers. Thank you all for your continued patience and support through this strange time.
