Roots and Leaves Poetry Contest
Once again, I’m thankful for the opportunity to oversee this contest and review every submission. It’s not easy to open yourself up to strangers judging your work for possible publication, so props to everyone for participating. For Roots and Leaves in particular, there were a few standouts that impressed me greatly. Because there were so many this time around, I’ve decided to highlight the top 10 pieces that I felt offered interpretations beyond highlighting the beauty of nature. Something which never fails to amaze me about language, that people can have unique writing styles which reflect their interpretations of the world around them. So thank you to all who submitted and to Wingless Dreamer for hosting this contest!
Warm regards,
Morgana Faye
