Kelly Sargent

Editor

Kelly Sargent’s poems and artwork, have appeared in more than 30 literary publications. She is also the author of Seeing Voices: Poetry in Motion (Kelsay Books, 2022). Her upcoming children’s book is entitled Sundae Sundays. In addition to serving Wingless Dreamer, she acts as CNF editor of The Bookends Review and a reviewer for an organization dedicated to making visible the artistic expression of sexual violence survivors.

Stephanie Drewett

Guest Artist

Stephanie Drewett is a freelance illustrator and portrait artist producing custom artwork for private clients. She mostly works with traditional mediums, paints, pencils, and coloured inks. It’s a dying art in modern illustration with the use of digital imaging software. She loves beautiful illustrated children’s books, Japanese comics, and classic Disney movies.

Rebecca Raush

Rebecca Raush (she/her) is an undergraduate student at Rutgers University pursuing an English major with minors in International and Global Studies and Creative Writing. With a deep passion for poetry, her current inspirations include Ocean Vuong, Mark Doty, and Blythe Baird. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, and writing. Past accolades include winning the My Spoken Mark Spoken Word poetry competition through her university in 2020 and winning third prize in the Evelyn Hamilton poetry award through the Rutgers Writers House. This is her first time editing a poetry anthology with Wingless Dreamer.

Ruchi Acharya

Founder & CEO

Ruchi Acharya is the CEO and Founder of Wingless Dreamer Publisher. She has garnered much acclaim for her poetry book, Off the Cliff. She received her summer graduation in English Literature from the University of Oxford. Her work has been applauded by multiple publishers such as Borderless Journal, The Publishing Room, Overachiever magazine, Detester magazine, Muddy River Poetry Review, Rhodora magazine, Mulberry Literary, Seaglass Literary, Flare journal, Analogies and Allegories, and Maythorn magazine among 100 others. When not writing she can be found exploring historical buildings and ancient ruins. As of 2022, she resides in Chennai, India enjoying the coconut water, palm trees, sandy beaches and sunkisses.

paul Bluestein

Editor

paul Bluestein is a physician (done practicing) and a blues musician (still practicing). He currently lives in Connecticut with his wife and his dog Tucker (a Flat-coated Retriever). Nearby, there is a beach where he finds quiet time to think about the past, wonder about the future, and lose his sunglasses. In addition to poems and short stories that have appeared in a wide variety of online and print publications, he has had two full-length books of poetry published by Silver Bow Publishing – TIME PASSAGES in 2020 and FADE TO BLACK in 2021.

Manasi Diwakar

Manasi Diwakar (she/her) is a technical editor and author of the forthcoming book ‘Tea For Two’. She has a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Technology and has studied Advanced Creative Writing at the University of Oxford. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in The Hive Publisher’s ‘A second cup of Tea’ anthology, North of Oxford, Twist and Twain, Asian Literary Society, Women’s Web, Melbourne Culture Corner, among others. In her spare time, she volunteers as a reader for Epiphany.

Giada Mancini

Giada Mancini is an Italian Illustrator with 10 years of work experience in the field of animation, photo editing, and graphics design in both digital and traditional art. She started working in the Italian animation industry as the author of her own projects but also collaborating on many other projects as a co-character designer and scriptwriter, Flash animator, colorist, and background artist. “Per aspera ad astra is a Latin phrase meaning through hardships to the stars” – Giada

Chris Valles

Christopher (Chris) Valles is a second year student at Oberlin College. Chris is a young Latino writer from the southside of Chicago has a love for poetry and the art of literature as a whole, He has had work published in The Teen Author Boot Camp and Wingless Dreamer. In 2021, he received an honorable mention for one of his short stories by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. He loves cats, writing, and working for Wingless Dreamer!

Perry Ren

Perry Ren is a Chinese Canadian educator, writer and ukulele wielder. She has vertigo and wants a cat, but mostly, she has a BA in English Lit from Mcgill University, and an MA in Chinese cultural studies from Fudan University. She currently reads children’s books for a living.

Bianca Rivetti-Burattini

Sao Paulo based artist, Bianca Rivetti Burattini has been developing her art for several years through an array of different techniques and stylization experiments. Originally an architect, Rivetti has incorporated different facets of color and composition knowledge within her craft. Architecture has given the artist a new perception regarding space and composition, as well as a deeper understanding of color and aesthetics. Through fine art and illustration, Rivetti focuses on creating bold, colorful works that are expressive of the artist’s feelings and are heavily inspired by Brazilian culture and biodiversity, the female shape and an overall sense of wonder towards the world through a blend of pop surrealism and fantasy. Currently, she lives in Brazil.

Samuel Robertson

Samuel Robertson, who was born in the chilly borderlands of East Scotland and now resides in Edinburgh, is almost 22 years old and works for the NHS while still following his literary career by pursuing an English Literature degree and editing for Wingless Dreamer in his spare time. He has already been published multiple times and intends to one day have his own poetry book available for other readers and other aspiring LGBT poets.

Marie Hennemann

Editor

Marie Hennemann (she/her) is based on the West Coast of Ireland. Currently, she is working as an intern editor at Wingless Dreamer as part of her undergrad studies in English at NUI Galway. She enjoys engaging with literature because language makes us reflect on who we are and encourages us to open doors to other worlds. Her favourite book is Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë, and she particularly loves Victorian literature. When she is not reading, she enjoys going for beach walks and watching sunsets.

Shreya Mishra
